Frequently Asked Questions
Answers to common questions about the catalog, downloads and getting started.
How do I install a client?
Check the build’s Minecraft version and required loader first. For a compatible Fabric mod, close the game, place the downloaded .jar in that installation’s mods folder, then launch the matching profile. See the installation guide for the usual folder locations.
Do I need a particular mod loader?
This depends on the client. Follow the requirements listed with the build. Mods built for different loaders or Minecraft versions may not work together.
Do I need to create an account?
No. Public downloads are available without a visitor account. The sign-in page is only for the website owner.
How can I check a download?
Use files only from sources you trust and inspect them before running them. Tools such as VirusTotal can help, but a clean scan is not a guarantee of safety. Back up your game files before adding new mods.
What do Broken and Patched mean?
These labels mark builds that are currently unavailable or affected by an update. Their download buttons remain paused until the owner changes their status.
What if a download does not work?
A file may not have been published yet, or a download may be temporarily unavailable. Review the release status and try again later.
